Not Always — But It’s Helpful at the Start
Here’s what homeowners should know about being present on installation day
Planning a window replacement? You might be wondering if you need to clear your entire day to be at home. The short answer: not necessarily — but it’s best to be there when the crew arrives to go over any final details.
Why Being Home at the Start Helps
👋 Meet the installation team and review the plan 📍 Confirm which windows are being replaced 🔑 Provide access to key areas of the home 🗣️ Ask any last-minute questions before work begins
Leaving During the Work
Once everything is confirmed, many homeowners choose to leave for part (or all) of the installation — especially if it’s a one-day project. Our team works efficiently and respectfully, whether you’re home or not. If you’re heading out, we just ask that:
🔒 Pets are secured 🧹 Work areas are clear 🔐 Someone is available by phone if needed
At the End of the Job
It’s helpful to return toward the end of the day so we can walk you through the finished work, demonstrate how your new windows operate, and make sure you’re completely satisfied before we leave.
Final Thoughts
We aim to make your installation day as smooth and convenient as possible. Being home at the start helps set the stage, but after that, your presence is optional — relax and leave the work to us.
